Per usual, we’re putting a tropical twist on one of our favorite Fall traditions and trading in our pumpkins for pineapples.

    1. Pick out a firm, not-too-ripened pineapple from your favorite local grocery (the bigger, the easier)

    2. Slice off the crown of the pineapple by cutting in at about half an inch below the top

    3. Use a pineapple corer to hollow out your pineapple (if you don’t have a corer onhand, cut around the edges then scoop out the middle with a sturdy spoon)

    4. Be gentle to cut out a face or spooky shapes of choice on the front of your pineapple

    5. Place a light or flameless candle inside your new pineapple jack-o-lantern

    6. Return crown to top of pineapple

Congratulations! Your DIY Halloween decoration is sure to be a neighborhood favorite.

Pro tip: Save the insides of your pineapple for the freezer. You can blend those up later with ice cream for a creamy delight! More exciting recipes here.
